Owner and lead groomer
Paulo has been grooming dogs since 1993 and opened Puppylicious in Coconut Creek in 2007. Every groomer on the Puppylicious team was trained by him, and you'll learn the same methods they use every day.
You won't watch from the back of a classroom. You'll work beside him at the table.

How training works
Real salon, real dogs
You train on the floor at Puppylicious with real clients, not in a classroom.
One-on-one
Paulo trains one student at a time, so all of his attention is on you.
Schedule
9am to 4pm. Start any week, no waiting for a class date.
Tools
You buy your own equipment during training, so you graduate with a kit that's yours.
After you graduate: top graduates may be offered a position at Puppylicious.
Questions students ask
Do I need experience?
No. You just need to be at least 18 years old. Both programs start with the basics.
How much does it cost, and how do I pay?
The 300-hour program is $9,999 plus tax, and the 600-hour program is $13,999 plus tax. There's no deposit to hold your spot. You pay half when you sign up and the other half 3 days later.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. You'll earn the Puppylicious Grooming Certification when you finish.
Do I need my own tools?
Yes, but not before you start. You buy your equipment during training.
What languages are classes taught in?
English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. You can get a full refund within 3 days of signing up. After that, tuition is non-refundable.
